Selection and Use of Descendants

Each Descendant has a unique play style and different advantages.

Bunny can quickly complete Field Missions using her agility and speed.
Sharen and Enzo are essential for Outpost and Encrypted Vault content, respectively.
Hailey specializes in clearing Intercept Battles.

Each Descendant is useful in different ways depending on the content. So be sure to employ the right one.

 

Descendant Attributes

Each Descendant has their own attributes.
Depending on the attribute, they can deal increased damage or take reduced damage.

Attributes are classified into Non-Attribute/Fire/Chill/Electric/Toxic.
Try using Descendants who have advantageous attributes for Missions and Intercept Battles against the Colossi.

This will make clearing Missions much easier.

Each Descendant has different ways of maximizing damage with their Skills.
Some Descendants focus mainly on skill-based attacks, some on maximizing firearm damage, and others are Support Descendants who empower other teammates.

Descendant Research Materials

Descendants can be acquired through Research.

Descendant Research requires 4 unique materials specific to each Descendant.
These Research Materials can be acquired from a wide range of content.
(Some Descendants can only be acquired from specific content.)

Check the required Materials in the Descendant Research screen or Library page.

Target Reward Settings - When you repeat a Mission with a selected Target Reward a set number of times, you will have a guaranteed chance to acquire the reward.

 

Collect the required Materials to Research Descendants.

You can acquire Amorphous Materials, needed for Descendant Research, through the Zone Recon Missions at the Outpost.

Through Outposts in each Zone, you can acquire "Amorphous Materials."	Open "Amorphous Materials" via the Shaping Device in Albion	Take the Descendant Materials acquired from the Amorphous Materials and use them to complete Research.

 

Material Locations: Infiltration Operations, Special Operations > Shaping Device

Infiltration Operations and Special Operations are key content where you can acquire Amorphous Materials for Descendants.
Clear Intercept Battles and open Amorphous Materials acquired from the Infiltration and Special Operations.

Through Infiltration and Special Operations in each Zone, you can acquire "Amorphous Materials."	Open "Amorphous Materials" via the Shaping Device in Albion	Take the Descendant Materials acquired from the Amorphous Materials and use them to complete Research.

Some Descendants can be acquired through Missions.
Progress through Missions and collect Descendant Research Materials.
