To manage fights against multiple enemies, you must consider several different factors, including the use of Skills and Weapons, HP, distance to target, etc.
More experience in Battle will help to make these decisions easier and faster. Refer to the tips below to start.

 

Use of Firearms and Bullets

While using Weapons, you may run out of Bullets.
Before you are out of Bullets, make sure to replenish them and continue the Battle.

Tip) Rather than firing continuously, fire in short bursts to fire more accurately at targets.

 

If you run out of Bullets in combat, switch to another Weapon and continue fighting.

Weapon 1: Press the 1 key/Press the Y button
Weapon 2: Press the 2 key/Press the Y button, to switch from Weapon 1
Weapon 3: Press the 3 key/Press and hold the Y button

 

Use of Skills

Skills are critical to defeating enemies.

Use Skills to easily defeat the incoming hordes of enemies.
Increase Skill Accuracy to defeat multiple enemies at once.

Using Skills consumes MP.
(Some Descendants consume exclusive Skill Resources when using their Skills.)
Recharge MP to continue using your Skills and successfully clear missions.

Shields and HP

Descendants can protect their HP with Shields.

 

Once their Shields have been fully drained, HP begins to fall.
Shields are automatically restored after a certain period of time without taking damage from enemies.

If your HP is low, avoid enemy attacks and find a safe place to recover your Shields.
Recover HP by using HP Recovery items that can be obtained from monsters.

Build an efficient DEF and Recovery strategy to stay in Battle longer.

 

Distance to Monsters

You may struggle to keep your HP intact when you face a horde of incoming monsters.

Keep a safe distance from monsters while in Battle.
If you are too far from them, you may struggle to replenish HP, MP, Bullets, etc.
Make sure to keep an appropriate distance from them to replenish HP, MP, and Bullets so that you can continue to Battle.

 

Use Roll and Grappling Hooks to keep your distance from them.

Roll: Press the Control key/Press the B button
Grappling Hook: Click the Middle Mouse button/Press the RB button

 

Use of Objects

Use objects on the map to make your Battles easier.

Use structures placed on the map to evade enemy attacks.
Attacking and detonating explosives can deal massive damage to nearby enemies.

  

Battles become easier by Charging/Recovering objects from Munitions, Resource Boxes, and Support Drones placed throughout the Zone.
You can also climb up objects or the terrain to fight from a higher vantage point.

 

Choose Firearms

Choosing the right type of Firearm for the situation,
will make Mission completion much easier.

General Rounds: Submachine Guns, Machine Guns, Handguns, Assault Rifles (Common Weapons)
Special Rounds: Beam Rifles, Tactical Rifles (Tactical options to suit Battle situations)
Impact Rounds: Hand Cannons, Scout Rifles (Precision shots)
High-Power Rounds: Sniper Rifles, Launchers, Shotguns (Deals Bursts of damage over a short time)
