Here are the major issues that were found for The First Descendant in June.
We will continually update this notice with any additional issues and bugs that are found, as well as any impactful issues identified before June. Please keep track of the updates during your gameplay.
[June 8th]
■ (#3) An issue where the Reactor is not provided as a monster defeat drop reward in the 'Infiltration Operation: Hard 400%' difficulty 'Magister Lab'
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.31 Update.
[June 5th]
■ (#1) An issue where stat information based on equipped modules is not displayed on the Descendant Module equip screen
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.31 Update.
■ (#1) An issue where the Dimension Skill Modifier is not reflected in some skill tooltips when the Transcendent Module 'Tidal Wave' is equipped on Valby and Ultimate Valby
- We have identified an issue where the Dimension Skill Modifier is not displayed in the tooltips for the 'Bubble Bullet' and 'Plop Plop' skills.
- Please note that this is a tooltip display issue only — actual Skill Power is being applied correctly.
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.31 Update.
■ (#1) We would like to address an issue where the monster kill count on the Onslaught Mode results screen differs from the Battle Pass Challenge 'Defeat enemies in Onslaught Mode' count
- We have confirmed that some Descendants are experiencing confusion due to the monster kill count displayed on the Onslaught Mode Result Screen differing from the Battle Pass Challenge count.
- This is not a bug, but expected behavior caused by a difference in how the Onslaught Mode Result Screen and the Battle Pass Challenge each tally kills.
- Please note that the Onslaught Mode Result Screen includes kills made by turrets and other elements that occur during combat, while the Battle Pass Challenge only counts kills made directly by the Descendant.
■ (#1) An issue where the 'Sell Blueprints to ETA-0'-related achievements and Battle Pass Challenges are being counted when performing 'Info Grid Extract.'
- We have identified an issue where achievements and Battle Pass Challenges related to 'Sell Blueprints at ETA-0' are being counted when performing 'Info Grid Extract.'
- Taking into consideration that many Descendants have already earned the relevant achievements through 'Info Grid Extract,' we have decided to keep the current condition as is.
- The descriptions displayed in the achievement and Battle Pass UI will be updated in a future patch.
■ (#2) An issue where the challenge list in the Onslaught Mode UI does not automatically refresh when challenges reset
- If this issue occurs, moving to a different region will refresh the list normally.
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.31 Update.
[June 4th]
■ An issue where Valby and Ultimate Valby are unable to use the Grappling Hook while the 'Clean Up' skill is active
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.31 Update.
■ An issue where the 'Bubbles' skill effects are not properly applied for Valby and Ultimate Valby
- We have identified an issue where stats are not reflected in real time when using the 'Bubbles' skill after equipping the 'Supply Moisture' module, and are instead applied based on the stats at the time of use.
- We have identified an issue where the cooldown is repeatedly reset through certain actions when using the 'Bubbles' skill after equipping the 'Supply Moisture' module.
- To minimize any perceived performance loss for Valby and Ultimate Valby Descendants as a result of the above fixes, increases to related Skill Damage and reductions to Skill Cooldown will be applied alongside the fix.
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.31 Update.
■ An issue where the weekly purchase limit for new exchange items in the ETA-0 Shop does not reset
- We have identified an issue where the purchase limit for new exchange items added to the ETA-0 Shop after the 1.3.30 patch does not reset.
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.31 Update.
■ An issue where the Makeup Skin included in the 'Goddesses of Albion' series bundle automatically equips and cannot be removed when switching to a different Loadout while the Makeup Skin is equipped
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the 1.3.31 Update.
[Previous Known Issues]
■ An issue where the Unique Ability 'Sprint Instinct' of Ultimate Weapon 'Frenzied Locomotive' is incorrectly displayed in languages other than Korean
- We have identified an issue where the Basic Info for 'Sprint Instinct' in languages other than Korean displays only 'Additional Damage' without the description that it is applied 'When firing on the ground.'
- Please note that only the tooltip display is incorrect — the effect that deals Additional Damage when firing on the ground is functioning normally.
■ Intel CPU Issue
- Crashes have been reported on some Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs.
- On PCs using these CPUs, the game may forcefully shut down with an error message stating 'Out of video memory' when launched.
This issue can be partially resolved by adjusting power limits in the BIOS.
- We are awaiting a response from Intel regarding this issue, and we are sharing Intel's official response for your reference.
■ Temporary solutions for client termination issues with certain antivirus Programs
- We have requested for exceptions for The First Descendant to antivirus programs, but some have not been implemented. Below are temporary solutions for this problem.
(1) ‘Bitdefender’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]
- Go to System Protection > Advanced Threat Detection (ATD) > Manage Exclusions menu, select the file or folder for The First Descendant, and save.
(2) ‘McAfee Agent’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]
- Go to McAfee Security > Navigation > Quarantined and Trusted Items, select TheFirstDescendant.exe from the quarantined programs list, and restore it.
■ Solutions for ‘Easy Anti-Cheat’ not functioning correctly
